The first step is to sign up for a Twilio account. This account is tied to your existing Google AdWords accounts, and you will need to create a new campaign that targets Wassup area businesses. Once you have created your campaign, you can then go into your Google Analytics account and find the “ios-only” section.
Under” Reporting”, click on “selsstations”. Next, scroll down to “Your Company Overview” and click “Pages”. On the left side there is a box with an equals sign and text box. The idea is for Twilio to provide you with verified, qualified prospects that have shown interest in the product you are marketing. Twilio will also verify the validity of the Twilio caller’s ID. Once these checks have been made, Twilio will present a list of Twilio numbers to connect you to the caller.
Once you have Twilio set up and running, all sales prospects received from Twilio will appear under your account “nels”. Twilio for Wassup works in conjunction with Google Maps. Twilio for Wassup will display a map on your sales page that is related to the URL you provided. Whenever a customer arrives via Twilio, the URL used is dynamically generated and displayed on your sales page.
There are a few caveats. Firstly, Twilio does not provide any special functionality when it comes to converting lead generation calls to actual sales. Secondly, Twilio does not support faxing / emailing.
